This workshop series is for assistant principals, principals,teachers, dean of students, and counselors. The participants will explore their school’s disciplinary data, which include referrals, ISS, OSS, out-of-location (elopements), school property destructions, etc,, and behavior interventions (i.e. frequency of students going to a support room, clearing out a classroom, etc.) to identify patterns, outline strategies to achieve the school’s desired outcomes. Ultimately, participants will learn to move their school from a lens of compliance to a school community. The training will include but not limited to:
Restorative practices and discipline in the classroom
Student-led restorative practices
Embedding SEL concepts in daily teaching.
