Dr. Darius Coulibaly, Founder, CEO, & Principal Global Educational Consultant

Who we are and why we exist?

Endless Learning Consulting, LLC is aglobal educational consultant firmbased in Virginia that partners with public and nonpublic schools, school districts, organizations, and families in the U.S and internationally tosolve problems in education.

Endless Learning Consulting, LLC is the brainchild of Dr. Darius Coulibaly, a visionary and racial justice-centered school leader with nearly 20 years in K12 education and 8 years in higher education as an adjunct college professor of Economics and Education.

Dr. Coulibaly brings a ton of instructional leadership experience and skills, and a passion for rigorous teaching and learning. Dr. Coulibaly seeks to create an emancipatory and endless learning space where educators and school leaders could grow their instructional and leadership skills, and learn to advocate for changes in education without feeling discredited, dismissed, and devalued.

Dr. Coulibaly recognizes that teachers in general, and special education teachers particularly, lack consistent instructional support from their assistant principals and principals. Many teachers feel unsupported, isolated, and overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork, meetings, IEPs to write and meetings to attend. As a result, they experience burn-out by mid November and become less confident. Like teachers, assistant principals, particularly the rookies (1-3 years) feel unsupported and trapped in the black hole of urgency (i.e., putting fire out and paperwork). As a result, education becomes business as usual. Students, particularly those with disabilities, and the culturally and linguistically diverse students continue to be disproportionately suspended from school, chronically absent, disproportionately underperform academically, and are disproportionately underserved.

Endless Learning Consulting, LLC was born out of Dr. Coulibaly’s frustrations with the:

●  Persistent and pervasive racial gapsin equitable educational opportunities and disciplinary referrals in our students with disabilities, and culturally and linguistically diverse students.

● systemic failurein supporting teachers, particularlyspecial education teachers.

● Lack of support for BIPOC (Black Indigenous People Of Color) students, teachers, staff, and Assistant Principals in K12 public and nonpublic schools.

●   High teacher turnover rate.According to the Education Resource Strategies(ERS, 2024), schools serving the greatest proportion of students experiencing poverty lost 29% of their teachers between October 2022 and October 2023, while schools with the lowest concentration of need lost 19%.

★  40% of teacherswho moved to another school in the same district went to a school with fewer students living in poverty.

★  30% of new teachers lefttheir school.

★  23% of teachers left their schoolsin the 2022-2023 school year.

★  In 2022, the turnover rate for Blackteachers was 22%.

★  Only 6% of teachers in America are black.

To end this cycle of instability, tackle the teacher shortage, and empower teachers and school leaders to address the pervasive and systemic failure of students with disabilities, culturally and linguistically diverse students, Dr. Coulibaly launched Endless Learning Consulting, LLC.

OUR STRATEGIC APPROACH

We recognize that our clients are the experts on themselves, their contexts, and schools. Thus, they drive this collaborative process. Our strategic approach is summarized in 5 steps

Vulnerability

We begin our journey by asking our clients to be vulnerable. To paraphrase Dr. Brenee Brown, being vulnerable is being courageous. That is, to honestly and transparently discuss where they currently are and where they would like to go. This process requires us to listen deeply, have difficult conversations, and collect triangulated data.

So What? Now What?

This process requires resilience. At the So What and Now What stage, we collect quantitative and qualitative data from various stakeholders, listen deeply, and support our client uncovering the next steps.

Individualized Continuous Improvement Plan (ICP)

We analyze the data to co-create a Continuous Improvement Plan with our client. At the end of this phase, The Client and Endless Learning Consulting develop an Educational Service Agreement (ESA), which outlines the services that will be delivered, duration, and fees.

Implementation

Upon signature of the ESA, we collaboratively plan the implementation of the Continuous Improvement Plan in cycles.

Evaluation & Improvement

We collect qualitative and quantitative data, conduct in person observation, and video recordings to measure the impacts of the ICIP.

OUR FOUNDER & CEO’s CORE VALUES

Darius Coulibaly, PhD., QMHP

Dr. Darius

Coulibaly’s core values anchor his visionary and racial-equity centered leadership style and inform his work.

     Joy
The work in K12 education is hard and complex. School leadership is an endless journey and is like traveling on roads under construction. However, we must find joy in the process of getting better by focusing on incremental progress, and celebrating every Aha moment we spark in the life of our students and educators.

     Racial justice-centered and emancipatory education
We can no longer conduct business as usual in K12 education. We must not promote nor reproduce white supremacy, inequities, racist practices, traumatize BIPOC students and educators in our

k12 public and nonpublic schools by dismissing, policing, erasing their voices, stories, and maintain a white-centered curricula, culture, and white supremacy in our curricula and school’s culture. We should reimagine education as emancipatory, culturally affirming for all, inclusive, liberatory, and abolitionist.

     Authenticity
We should create a school environment where everyone’s best and authentic self is nurtured, valued, and appreciated. Only then, will we transform our school culture and climate.

     Community
Inspired by my African values, there is no "I". There is a "We". The "We" drives my work. The African philosophy and way of life, Ubuntu which means "I am am, because you are", which translates in the Zulu language, "Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu".
