Our Global Classroom Partnership Program (GCPP)provides a unique learning space for K12 and college students in Africa, the U.S, and from around the world to engage in authentic learning activities in which they will critically explore some of the world’s most important issues and engage in specific projects to be applied in their community. The GCPP’s activities include but not limited to:
Classroom lessons or curriculum-based projects in core subject areas
STEAM project
Literacy Project
School-based and peer-to-peer online fundraising events.
How Can a Classroom or School Become a Global Classroom Partner?
Step #1: A K12 teacher, an assistant principal, or principal request to become a Global Classroom Partner (GCP), Click here to get started!
Step #2: Empowering African Youth pairs the classroom or school with another GCP, and coordinates several online meetings via Zoom, Teams, etc. between the two groups of students during which the two groups elaborate a project.
Step #3: Upon completion of the project, each participant receives a certificate from Empowering African Youth. Updates on each partnership are promoted on our website and quarterly e-newsletter.
